Terms of Service
1. General provisions
These terms of service set out the rules for the provision of services by electronic means in the Futura web application available at mvp.futura.foundation (the "Application"). The service provider is Fundacja Futura Foundation, with its registered office in Warsaw at Jana Kazimierza 32A/17, 01-248 Warszawa, Poland, entered in the National Court Register under KRS number 0001248894, NIP 5273223925, REGON 545057096 (the "Foundation"). Contact: kontakt@futura.foundation. Use of the Application is free of charge.
2. Scope of services
The Foundation provides the following services in the Application:
- maintaining a user account;
- building a career profile and CV (entries covering education, experience and skills);
- adding and presenting projects;
- generating career path recommendations;
- an AI-based career advisor (see section 6);
- a search feature for other users' public profiles and projects.
The Application is under active development (MVP) — the scope and shape of individual features may change; the Foundation will announce material changes in the Application.
3. Technical requirements
Using the Application requires: a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled and — for registration — an active e-mail address.
4. Registration and account
- the service agreement is concluded for an indefinite period at the moment the account is created — by registering with an e-mail address and password or with a Google account;
- the Application may be used by persons who are at least 16 years old;
- data provided at registration and in the profile should be true and up to date;
- the account is personal and non-transferable; the user must keep the password confidential and must not share the account with third parties.
5. User content
The user retains rights to the content they post in the Application and is responsible for it. A profile or project marked by the user as public is visible to other logged-in users of the Application.
It is prohibited to provide content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights or public decency, is misleading, or constitutes spam.
Violations can be reported to kontakt@futura.foundation. The Foundation may remove content that violates the law or these terms, informing the user of the reason.
6. AI advisor
The career advisor's answers are generated automatically by artificial intelligence (a language model). They are for information and educational purposes only, may be incomplete or contain errors, and do not constitute professional or legal advice or a guarantee of any particular outcome — the user makes decisions about their own path independently. The Foundation may apply usage limits to keep the service available to all users.
7. Availability and liability
The Foundation provides the services with due care but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Application; technical breaks and outages may occur. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the Foundation's liability to the extent that it cannot be excluded or limited towards consumers under applicable law; the statutory provisions on the conformity of digital services with the contract apply.
8. Complaints
Complaints about the operation of the Application can be submitted to kontakt@futura.foundation. A complaint should include a description of the problem and contact details for a reply. The Foundation responds to complaints within 14 days of receipt.
9. Withdrawal and termination
- a user who is a consumer may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason, by sending a statement to the Foundation's contact address;
- independently of the above, the user may terminate the agreement at any time by deleting the account in the Application or sending a request to the Foundation's contact address;
- the Foundation may terminate the agreement or block the account in the event of a material breach of these terms, informing the user of the reason;
- after account deletion, data are erased as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Personal data
The rules of personal data processing, including information about the controller, data recipients, cookies and user rights, are described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
The Foundation may amend these terms for important reasons, in particular changes in the law, in the scope of services, or for security reasons. The Foundation will announce a change in the Application or by e-mail at least 14 days before it takes effect. A user who does not accept the changes may terminate the agreement by deleting their account.
12. Final provisions
These terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to the protection afforded to consumers by mandatory provisions of applicable law. Disputes are resolved by the competent common court; consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution (including the assistance of municipal and district consumer ombudsmen and the Trade Inspection in Poland). These terms are effective as of 21 August 2026.
